Wow!!! I need to get on here a bit more at times...

Since I last posted on here...Me and my man are still together...but we have our fights...like most couples...but I think it just makes us stronger and more likely to be together longer. 

I'm still working at the RL in Pineville.  It gets a tad GRRR at times but it's paying the bills.  Ryan went to CA part of the last few weeks which didn't help with the stress...but it worked out okay. 

For my B-day (Dec. 4) the only day I had off was my b-day...but I found out that one of the ladies at work had a new grandbaby added to her family on my b-day!! That's kinda cool...though I don't know the baby's name...I was gonna go to ATL to celebrate a weekend b-day event but because the lady had to go to DC...I had to miss out on a weekend b-day bash.  But I did get a digital camera for the b-day too.

Christmas was a good time.  My only day I had off in 2 weeks...mom had to work on Christmas Day...so we all got together Christmas Eve and opened all our gifts and stuff...

I got for Christmas: A NASCAR pets calendar
                                   a teddy bear with a hoodie with my pic of me and JMac on it
                                   a digital photo album keychain
                                   the new Rascal Flatts CD
                                   a Best Buy gift card
                                   a photo album with hundreds of family photos (which was the best gift...regardless of                                                                                                      what you think about the last one on this list)

(And NO...my sig. other did not get me anything for either Christmas or my b-day...but he made up for it in his own way)

New Year's Eve was nice...even though my babe fell asleep about 15-10 mins b4 midnight...he was sooo tired...but I woke him up a few mins after and gave him his New Yr's kiss...

That's pretty much it in a nutshell...not much more to my life except working all the time and seeing my man when I can.  Still living at home...but saving up so I can get a real nice place!

The cats are still driving me nuts...at times...Sadie is hanging out in my room a bit more than she normally does.

• Broke up with Ben and started seeing a new guy..."Wolverine" as Carrie likes to call him (I like to keep it on the DL...he's a hottie though!).

I've come to determing that I haven't accepted what you did to me.  I was badly hurt and that is something I haven't gotten over quite yet.  You said you wanted to start seeing me again but you have done the same thing again.  I need a man who at least talks to me and let's me know when i'm being a dumbass. You just run and hide.  I need a man who isn't a child, who can speak and express what he thinks.  Who confronts the problems he is having.  I know I made you uncomfortable by telling you that I am seeing a new guy but did you expect me to just sit and wait for you?  I can't just hold on to the hope that you will someday change.  You haven't shown me that you are a "new man" and are serious at wanting to see me again.  Life is short and for me to sit and wait is killing the time I have.  I will be forever grateful for you helping me find new life after the miserable one I felt I had.  You helped me see that for ever jerk, there are good guys, like you, who want the love of a woman.  I hope you find your happiness.  I know now that you had a small place in time in my life to help me through my pain.  I also know now that you and I are different people who have different views on life and that makes "you and me" hard.

Where to start?! Let's see...the day after I wrote that last post...Ben asked me out...then a month later broke up with me over facebook and didn't tell me and hasnt talked to me since...but I got a Sims 2 game out of it...so...his loss!

I've become the host with the most at work..Abe loves me! haha...not that the rest aren't good...but Abe lets me train all the new hosts...because he knows I will train them right. Amber doesn't work there anymore...so...I guess that leaves me and Kelz as the girls that they don't worry about the front of the house going in the toilet! My friend Ashley is gonna be working there now...so there will be 3 or 4 of us that are totally awesome hosts! (A new girl Natalee is starting there this week too!)

Finally got into the senior year of college and into one of the Psych classes that I have been trying to get into since I transfered to UNCC!

I'm not the PR person of the UNCC College Republicans anymore...but that isn't a total loss to me anymore. I emailed the chair and told him how I felt about the organization and how I didnt agree with the way they are shifting politically...I dont want to be linked to them if they continue the way they are. I've kept copies of the conversations from the time they asked for me to resign til the present day...in which I will still keep copies...in case there is a slip up and I can possibly use it!

So...its Christmas time! While this weekend will be filled with me working...we have family in town to celebrate the holiday. I finished my shopping later than I wanted to...but it's all done. I'm getting anxious waiting to see if i got my NANO! haha

Danielle Stevens, aged 21, died peacefully early Wednesday morning, October 18, 2006 from complications due to a broken heart. Ms. Stevens suffered from this broken heart for several years until it finally broke beyond repair. While there were many great and amazing adventures, this death signals the end to a life of suffering and despair.

Danielle entered the world on December 4, 1984 to loving parents. Her life changed drastically during her eigth year of life. She didn't view life in the same manner for the next ten or so years until she met the first love of her life. After a short time of loving each other, they endured a sudden break-up. She had not experienced love like that again before her untimely death. Shortly before her death, she had her heart broken severely and was recovering as best she could. Finally, after a late night phone call, she succumbed to her broken heart. In her afterlife, she will enjpy the goodness that it brings to her soul.

So here I sit in Research Methods...we had to analyze our group results and it turns out that we had the same mean for both quarter and nickel...

For those that don't know what we did...we took a quarter and glued it down and did the same for the nickel and then timed people in seconds to see how long they took trying to get the coin up and we were testing to see if they spent more time on the quarter over the nickel...turns out...its the same mean time for both...so MONEY IS MONEY...who cares what coin value it has!

We didn't take too long to do this so our group is basically just sitting here and doing random stuff on the computer until the other groups are done!

So I finally decided to get back on here and post on my journal...since I FINALLY have time!

I got a job at Red Lobster in Gastonia...and work with some of the coolest people that I know! Shoutouts to my work peeps! (I'm a dork you guys!) I am a host...or seater as they call it! I figured that way I can get an understanding of how they operate, start out "small" then work my way up to server!

I found out that I'm not going to be a senior until the spring semester starts...I'm 4 credits short!! Oh well..just means I am graduating a semester later than I have expected!
